I was looking at all these anti-Fanfiction stamps, they were all saying 'write something original!'

And I was thinking

I don't want to.

Like, ever. I don't want to be a professional writer or author, I only like writing fanfics. That's just how it is. I don't feel like writing anything else because I'm not that great a writer and I probably wouldn't read my own stuff if I had to. All the plots that were ever interesting have been done already :P So I figure, mess with someone else's plot. More fun, easier to write (you don't have to make up EVERYTHING) and shiz like that.

So, yeah. Writing's just for fun, I don't give a shit about my original stuff.

also, i dont want any ' pity ' comments like "it's so sad" or you calling me pathetic for this or something. this is how i feel and screewww yeeww

People like that can't fucking see that fanfiction is a hobby just like whatever the hell they do.

It's not how good a piece is that determines whether it's good or not; it's the heart and passion that one puts into it. I would rather see art that's not so good but full of heart than a piece that is amazing but was considered a burden for the creator.

xDD LULZ Even if you are bad, you'd still get fans. Back when I wrote like suchfrigginshiiittt, I had a whole bunch of fans. It's weird. Lulz but my plots were great maybe that's it :iconimhappyplz:

I just suck at writing. I did post a fanfic on fanfiction.net one time and nobody read it XDD or nobody reviewed it at least. So I never finished it. It was dumb anyways XD

Well, I wouldn't say fanfiction is more fun than original work, but it's still fun, especially if you don't want to be a professional. You're still creating the plot and any original characters you include...you're just setting it in someone else's world. Some fanfics are actually better than published novels.
